The ProctorU web extension must be installed in order for you to be able to attach ProctorU to an exam in Blackboard.

The web extension is compatible with Google Chrome and Firefox. Before you install the web extension make sure your web browser is up to date.

To download the browser extension go to https://www.proctoru.com/firefox. If you are using Firefox, click the "Download Now" button (1).

If you are using Chrome, click the "Click here" link (2).

Firefox

After you click the "Download Now" button, the extension file will download. You will then be asked if you want to install the extension. Click "Continue to Installation."

Firefox will ask you to confirm that you want to add the extension. Click "Add":

A screen will appear asking you to agree to share data in accordance with the ProctorU privacy policy:

The extension will now be active in Firefox.

Chrome

After you click the download link, a new window will open. Click on "Add to Chrome."

A window will pop-up that allows you to review how ProctorU works with Chrome. Click "Add Extension" to complete the installation.
