**Before you begin, please have your existing Connect section ready**
You must use your COD email address (@cod.edu) for your Connect account to have access through Blackboard.
To update your email address in Connect:
- Login into your Connect account
- Locate the tab labeled "My Accounts" (Tab should be located in the top right hand corner)
- Navigate to the edit tab
- Update the email to make sure you are using your COD email.
- Enter your password in to save any edits and click Save
Prepare your Existing Blackboard Section
- Login to Blackboard and navigate to your course.
- Open the Content Area where you would like to link your McGraw Hill content.
- Individually delete each existing Connect assignment link.
- NOTE: Please be sure to check every folder for Connect assignment links. Any links not deleted will no longer work when the course is paired via LTI Advantage

Pair with Existing Connect Account and Existing Section
Login to Blackboard and navigate to your course. Click on the Content Area (in this case, I created a content area called "McGraw Hill Connect") where you would like to link your McGraw Hill content.
- Click Build Content and select McGraw Hill Connect LTIA.
- Click Begin.
- If you see this message, "Connect found an existing account with your email address," click Sign In on the left-hand side.
- Click Pair with existing Connect course.
- Locate the Connect section you want to pair and click Select.
- Click Go to Section Home.
- Select the assignment(s) you want to send over to Blackboard.
- Click on the three-dot menu next to the "Add Assignment" icon and select Deploy to Blackboard.
- Verify the Grade Type and click Deploy.
- The assignments should now be in the Blackboard Content area for your course and a grading column has also been created for each assignment in the course. All assignments will have the same icon in your Blackboard course.
*Please note that if you make any edits to assignments in Connect, you will need to redeploy the assignment to Blackboard to update it. Redeploying an assignment will not duplicate any links or Grade Center items.
