Using Courseleaf to Locate the Course Description and Course Objectives for Inclusion in your Course Syllabus - Ultra

To obtain your course description and course objectives to include in your syllabus, you’ll need to use Courseleaf. Every course offered at the College of DuPage must adhere to this directive, as mandated by the Higher Learning Commission. Be sure to update this information each term, as it can change.

1. To access Courseleaf, log into the Employee Portal and click Courseleaf CIM Courses under the Work Tools menu. 
   
   
2. Enter the COD Course Number (e.g. [insert Subject] 1100 or [insert Subject] 1101) in the dialog box and click Search.
   
   
3. The Courseleaf entry for your course now displays under the list of courses in the search area. Click Export to Word to download the Courseleaf entry for your course.
   
   
4. Open the Word file, and copy and paste the Course Description and Course Objectives from the file into your syllabus document under the appropriate headings.
   
   
5. Save the changes to your syllabus document, and post your syllabus to Blackboard.
