In Blackboard Ultra courses, an assessment setting exists whereby instructors can choose to track offline submissions from their students. This feature bridges the gap for hybrid courses that combine in-person sessions with online activities. Instructors can manage all coursework within Ultra, streamlining the process and avoiding the need to manually transfer grades from physical items or activities.
To enable the Collect submissions offline setting for an assessment:
- Navigate to the assessment in question and click the Gear icon in the upper right corner to expand the Assessment Settings panel.
- Under Details & Information check the box for Collect submissions offline
- Click Save.
