One of the most important things you can do for your students when adding content to Blackboard, whether it's an online, hybrid, or classroom course, is to adopt a consistent layout and structure. Not only will consistency be helpful for your students, it will also help you in planning your course.
Each of the default Course Menu items has its own function or purpose. Any Course Menu item you add to your course should also have its own function or purpose. Students wouldn't look for a video in the Syllabus area. You can't add a graded assignment to Announcements.
In this module, you will learn the functions of the different Course Menu items, and how to add the different types of items to your Course Menu.
