This is how YuJa video quiz works in a nutshell:
A. Adding quiz questions to a video.
B. Creating a YuJa Gradebook weblink for student access on a content page of a Blackboard course. A grade column is created at the same time. For your students, see Taking Video Quizzes in Blackboard.

Step-by-step instructions:
A. Adding quiz questions to a video
1. Hover over the video (or to the right of the video if the display format is a list). Select More.
2. Click Quizzes on the pop-up screen.
3. Click Create Quiz.
4. Enter a quiz title.
5. Play video and stop at the spot you want to insert a quiz question.
6. Click Add Question.
7. Select a question type.
8. Enter the test question (The example shows Multiple Choice).
9. Enter options.
10. Check the correct answer.
11. Click Add Option to enter more choice options.
12. Click Save when the test question is completed.
13. Repeat steps 5 to 12 to add more test questions.
14. Click Save when the quiz is completed.
15. Click Post.
16. Select a date for Quiz Opens.
17. Select a date for Quiz Closes.
18. Select the group/course you want to post the quiz. (Note: You can select multiple groups/courses.)
19. Click Post. The video quiz is created and posted.
B. Creating a YuJa Gradebook link for student access to the video quiz
1. Navigate to the area you want students to access the video quiz.
2. Click Build Content
3. Select YuJa Gradebook. This takes you to the Media Chooser screen in YuJa.
4. Click Quizzes.
5. Click on the video you want to link to.
6. You are back in the course. A weblink with the video title is created for student access. A grade column with the same title is created at the same time.
7. To verify that the quiz is available to students, click the down arrow next to the link title.
8. Select Edit.
9. Select Yes for Visible to Students.
10. Select Yes for Open in New Window.
11. Select Yes for Permit Users to View this Content.
12. Click Submit.
C. Grading a quiz
The quiz is graded by the system unless there is a short answer question, in which case, the instructor grades it in YuJa.
Upon submission of the quiz, a score is entered in the grade column in Blackboard. If there is an ungraded short answer question in the quiz, the score displayed in the grade colum (or in My Grades in the student's view) excludes points of the short answer question.
To view grade details, the student goes to YuJa/My Account/My Grades after the quiz is closed. See more in Section D below.
How to grade a short answer question:
1. Go to YuJa from your course or login on cod.yuja.com directly.
2. Click on the Main Menu icon.
3. Select Usage & Analytics.
4. Click Grade Book
5. Select the course from the Group list.
6. Select the video for the quiz list.
7. Click Get Result.
8. Select the student under Detailed Breakdown.
9. Click Grade Now.
10. On the Grade Student’s Answer screen, select correct or incorrect.
11. Click Save. The score is recorded (or updated) in your Bb gradebook.
D. Student access to grading details
Students see their video quiz scores in My Grades in the Blackboard course but for grade details they need to go to My Grades in YuJa after the quiz is closed.
1. Go to YuJa from your course (or login on cod.yuja.com directly).
2. Click on the profile icon.
3. Select My Account.
4. Select My Grades.
5. Select the course from the Group list.
6. Select the quiz from the quiz list.
7. Click Get Result. Click on Q1, Q2, etc. to see more details.
